Tale of Baghdad
Gear
There are 9 pieces of gear in Harbiyah. Gear has currently proven to be random. Through multiple playthroughs I’ve seen the same weapon in different locations. So don’t worry if you don’t get what is in the video. You should, however, always get a weapon before you get the upgrade schematic for it.
Water Mill Synchronization point – Key is in the water by the water wheel
Dur-Kurigalzu/’Aqarquf Dunes – north west of Baghdad towards Anbar.
Anbar – North of the Winter Palace. Use a knife on the hanging thing from the opposite side of the rock door.
Northern Oasis – Get 3 pieces of gear here, depending on the number of Mysterious Shards you have.
Abandoned Caravanseri – Western side of the map. Throw a knife through the flooring above the gear
Spymaster’s Camp – South end of the map, south of Palm Grove
Southern Camp – East end of the map, just south of the wall, along the water
Water Mill
This is in the building to the north. The key for the chest can be found in the water by the water wheel.
Dur-Kurigalzu/’Aqarquf Dunes
You can get here by doing the Leap of Faith off the synchronization spot. Throw an oil jar at the wall down to the right.
Anbar
This one can be found north of the Winter Palace. Throw a knife through the windows to drop the hanging bundle.
Northern Oasis x3
You can get 3 pieces of gear here depending on how many Mysterious Shards you have.
Abandoned Caravanseri
Throw a knife through the floor to break the barred door open.
Spymaster’s Camp
Watch out for the leopards.
Southern Camp
There are a lot of guards just milling around the gear. I waited for the heavy with the flamethrower to move on and then used a noisemaker and smoke bomb to get it.
Lost Books
There is only 1 Lost Book in the wilderness. It’s called Suleiman al-Tajir: Accounts of China and India. It’s found at the Tuesday Market outside the southside of the city.

The page for this one can be found at the Tomb of Zubaydah which is just outside the Gate of Tahir. It points to the most northern village of Ukbara and look for the house half in the water with the dome sticking out. It’s on the northern shore.
Reap from the Ruins
This page can be found in a house in Jarjaraya. It points you east to the ruins at Seleucia-on-the-Tigris.
Joy Beneath the Weeping Palms
This page can be found by the Gate of the Mills, outside the southern end of the city. It points you to the palms to the south.

There are two Tale of Baghdad in the wilderness.
Treasure Hunt in Ukbara
Along the northern shore is a woman trying to enter a house with a barred door. Swim down and into the house and get the blue vase for her.
Curse of the Si’la’ in the Abandoned Village
The Abandoned Village is along the western side of the map, west of the Observatory Synchronization spot. Talk to the gentleman by the tree and then find all the clues.
- Examine the dead body down the path.
- Investigate the box outside the next house, go inside and investigate the jar.
- See the item with the mark of the Caliphate on it just outside the poison house.
- Follow a scent path from the shore up to the poison house.
- Examine it twice, once midway, once on the beach.
- There’s also a slightly red spot on the beach.
