RE4R Puzzle: Village Chief’s Manor

In order to get into the bedroom upstairs, you need to open the cabinet in the back hall downstairs. To get the cabinet open, you need to have read the Iluminados 4:3 verse that is found upstairs on the table. That will tell you that the cabinet lock is crops, pig, and baby.

That will get you the marble that you need to put in the door upstairs. I found it easiest to turn it to find the “sharpest” edges to get it to look like the church insignia. Once you can sort of pick out the shape of the lower legs, then you can just turn it right-side up.

RE4R Request: Chapter 4 Catch Me a Big Fish

The note for this request can be found in the Lakeside Settlement behind the Insignia door. The fish in question can be found just to the left of the Boathouse.

When you gain control of the boat in Chapter 4, head back out into the lake, just past the Boathouse.

RE4R Puzzle: Small Cave Shrine (Blasphemer’s Head)

The Small Cave Shrine is on the northeast side of the lake. Look for the symbols to know what buttons to press to get in and get the Blasphemer’s Head.

RE4R Puzzle: Large Cave Shrine (Apostate Head)

To open the door in the Large Cave Shrine in order to get the Apostate Head, you have to find the three symbols in yellow paint around the cave. The order doesn’t appear to matter. I’ve entered them in different orders twice.

RE4R: 5 Wayshrine Locations

I have found 5 Wayshrine Locations in the game.

The Key can be found at the end of the Mural Cave, just before the boat.

The Farm – Between the windmill and the east two story building. Antique Pipe.
Lakeside Settlement – Left of the house where you meet Luis. Pearl Bangle.
Quarry – on the path between the start of the quarry and the Merchant Hideout. Butterfly Lamp.
Lower Quarry – when you have free reign of the boat in chapter 4, you can go south past the Merchant’s dock to find this. Splendid Bangle.
Checkpoint – in Chapter 6, on your way out of the village, this is in the same area as the 2 chainsaw ladies. Elegant Headdress.

RE4R Request: Chapter 4 Egg Hunt/Golden Egg

In Chapter 4, after picking up the Wayshrine Key at the Mural Cave, you can get a request to find a Golden Egg. The egg itself can be found on the east side of the lake.

RE4R Request: Chapter 3 Medallions #2

As you enter the Quarry, you’ll see another request to destroy Medallions. Shooting them all will get you 4 Spinels.

1. One in the open quarry area. Look up at the scaffolding.
2. One under the dock.
3. Inside the first building down in the muck. It’s hanging from the ceiling.
4. In the middle section, hanging under the left side upper ledge.
5. From Hexagon Piece B, turn around 180 degrees.

RE4R Request: Chapter 3 Grave Robber

Behind the church is a request to destroy a couple of grave emblems.

Resident Evil 4R, Church Yard Grave Robber Merchant Request. — The graves are in the central area by the bent tree.

RE4R Request: Chapter 2 Pest Control

In the Abandoned Factory, there is a Request Notice for Pest Control. It’s to the right of the Merchant. The 3 rats are back the way you came. Two in the last bit of the hallways and then 2 outside.

RE4R Request: Chapter 1 Farm Medallions #1

There are 5 Medallions at the Farm. Shooting them all will get you 3 Spinels.

1. Backside of the typewriter building.
2. Inside the middle barn. I got it through the southwest window.
3. Inside the rafters of the west building.
4. East two story building, hanging in an upper window.
5. Behind the Wayshrine in the gated area. Go through the windmill to get to it, and it’s hanging from the windmill balcony when you jump down.
