Until I do this puzzle on standard puzzle difficulty I don’t know if/how it differs from Light. But this solution to the Jukebox puzzle in Neely’s Bar in Silent Hill 2 was done on puzzle difficulty Light.
To see video of this puzzle, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INh4HM9RMc4
To solve this puzzle you need to get the coin, the half a record & glue, and the missing jukebox piece. The order doesn’t matter.
1. Get Neely’s Coin from the Texan Cafe cash register. On console, use the dpad buttons to highlight the key and turn it, then highlight the button on the lower right and press that. That’ll open the drawer. This is needed to play the jukebox.
2. Get half of the vinyl record & the vinyl record glue from the Groovy Music Shop.
3. he missing Jukebox piece can be found in Apartment 9 in Saul Apartments on the south side of town. STICK YOUR HAND IN THAT!!!! 🙂
4. Once you have those pieces, head to Neely’s Bar and uncover the jukebox. Interact with the jukebox to get the other half of the vinyl record. Then, in inventory, COMBINE the two to fix it.
Then you need to fix the red, green, and blue pieces on the jukebox so that you can put the record back in. Use the dpad on console to highlight which piece you need to move.
Move Green so the pipes are facing left.
Click on Red to connect to the green pipes.
Click on Green to move red out of the way – might need to click twice.
Click on Blue to push it down.
Click on Green to move the arm out.
Go into inventory and select the record.
Add the coin, and the missing button, and then select C2.
Enjoy the cutscene and you’ll get a key for the back door.
There’s also a save spot behind the bar if you want it.
Out back, find the green car and investigate the pile of clothes nearby. That’s where you’ll find the key to Wood Side Apartments.
