S.O.S.
I took flares and mines with me. You’ll encounter a couple of crafting stations and the game will give you both, but i took more just in case.
Reach Sector B. On the way there you can see the Humpback Whale and get a picture if you’re working on the Photography Missions.
At the Sector B entrance, you have to go to the bottom and enter the vent that way. Bash your way through and at the end of the tunnel, get out and pull the lever to open the door on the side to continue in.
Pottery Collectible
As you’re moving down the path towards the Diver’s Capsule you’ll see a broken pipe. Enter that and go left into the West side of the map.
Administrative
When you come back from the collectible, continue on. You’ll end up entering the Industrial Center instead.
Reminder that flares keep the swarm away from you.
In the round room where stairs go down two floors, the battery you need in the “basement” is in the northern office of the ground floor. Use a mine on the door. Take the basement downstairs to the room on the right.
On the way out, you can grab a photo of a Whale Shark for the Photography 03 mission.

End of Last Day Underwater – Both Endings
Go back to the Life Module, call Emma, talk to Tim and then try and sleep.
When you can’t sleep, go look at the jellyfish through the front window, and then go into the kitchen and you can interact with the first window on the left. Then leave the life module and follow “Pearl” to the Deep Falls (1792x-183). When Stan comes to, head down to the other side. It’s optional to explore Tim’s original life module, but there are a few Personal Notes inside.
After the life module, leave and continue in the same direction. On the right you’ll see some supports in the rock wall. Enter there, find the statues, enter the mouth, look up and see an exit into the whale graveyard. In the graveyard, head slightly left to the yellow light.
Make a save file after reading the Whale Story if you want to easily do both endings.
