This post is a link to the Google Workbook that has all of the modules listed in the game. I want to give a HUGE shoutout to https://alcasthq.com/tfd-modules-list/ where I got the starting names & descriptions from. It saved me a lot of typing out from the game. 🙂 I’ve changed the format so that it’s now in sortable table format and added additional information like capacity cost and socket type. Because it’s in a workbook, the list is now sortable by any column and is useful when you want to track down a mod that you want as well as trying to determine what type of mod you might want when assigning a module socket type in the mod windows when you reach Mastery Rank 7.
In game, a full list of modules can be found by going to (PS5) Touchpad — Access Info — Modules. And reminder that in the game, when you select the mod you want to look at more closely, you can hit a button (on PS5 its square) to show what region(s) it can found in. This is incredibly useful if you find a mod that you want, because this will tell you where you can go to get it.
Assign Module Socket Type
When you reach Mastery Rank 7, you can Assign Module Socket Type.
In the picture below, you can see that in the Viessa Module Window, one of the sockets is Cerulean specific. What this means is, is if you put a Cerulean mod in that spot, it’ll cost 50% less than if you put it somewhere else. A mod that did cost 6 capacity, now costs 3 if put in this spot. That’s the benefit to assigning a specific socket to a slot.
Overall, when you’re assigning a module socket type, it can be helpful to know that mods related to Chill are all Cerulean mods, so if you’re playing as Viessa, you might want more Cerulean mod slots. Or if you want more weak-point mods, you’re going to want to assign more Malachite mod slots.
You can use the Google Workbook list of all Modules in the game here to help determine not only what mods you want overall, but if you want to Assign a specific mod slot.
Please leave a comment if you can’t access the google workbook because it means I need to change a setting. Thanks!
Thanks for the list of modules. Do you know of a list somewhere for modules that can ONLY be obtained from Combining?
I do not. I was under the assumption from my playing around with combining that you just got regular ones. But if there’s a specific mod you want, you can go into Journal — Access Info — modules and click on it and there’ll be an option to look up acquisition info.
